The Much anticipated event in the Amuwo-Odofin Community, AmuwoGames kicked off the sports festival in grand style on the 4th November 2017 as the Unity Primary School, Mile2.
The Games was initiated by a Torch Relay which commenced from the LGA secretariat to the venue of the Opening Ceremony.
Gracing the event were Community residents, sports enthusiasts, Athletes, Sponsors, Volunteers, Dignitaries and a lot More.
Spotted at the Opening Ceremony was Hon Dipo Olorunrinu, African China, Faze, Vice-Chairman, Amuwo-Odofin LGA, Councillors and other highly respected individuals in the LG.
The Opening ceremony saw to the athletes parade which also gave them the opportunity to participate in the oath of sportsmanship.
Also at the Opening Ceremony was K-peace who entertained the audience with his single.
Immediately after the Opening Ceremony was the Football Match as Festac Sharks slugged it against the Mile 2 Lions and Alas the Festac Sharks came out Victorious with a 2 – 1 Score Victory.
It was an activity-packed day and a success.
