An All Progressive Congress APC chieftain , Shalewa Daramola was yesterday shot dead by suspected assassins in Festac town Lagos.
Mr Shalewa Daramola , assistant treasurer of the APC in festac according to naij was gunned down at 3rd avenue K close , Festac Town while he and his members were sharing Sallah gifts.
The incident occurred when Mr Shalewa Daramola went to check his car and suddenly one of the suspected gunmen came out from the adjourning close asking for money.
Shalewa Daramola then told them he had no money and the young gunman in his early 20’s shot him up to for times before he escaped on a waiting motorbike.
All attempts were made to save his life as he was quickly rushed to the nearby local government primary health care centre and as he was being referred to another hospital in Festac , he gave up the ghost.
The incident has been reported at Festac Police Station, 2nd Avenue, Festac town.
The late Shalewa Daramola was an APC member in Ward B, Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
