The All Progressives Congress(APC), Amuwo Odofin LGA and Oriade LCDA held a mini convention at Amuwo Odofin LGA secretariat, Festac Town, Lagos to elect delegates that will represent them in the forthcoming APC National Convention.
The mini convention attracted party faithful, INEC officials and members of the fourth estate of the realm.
The Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Comrade Valentine Buraimoh in his address appreciated all for their loyalty and keeping faith with the party. He further seeks the cooperation of all stakeholders in moving the Local Government and the party forward.
Also, an Apex Leader of the Party, Prince Adio Sekoni noted that despite all odds, ” we all came out to vote for APC during the last Local Government election”. The Apex leader enjoined all to be patient with the party, as the dividends of democracy will get to everyone.
” we do not need to fight ourselves. we are one and we shall remain one. Please be ready assured that the party recognizes each and everyone efforts. Do not be deterred, it will get to you, he noted”.
The delegates ractified to represent Amuwo Odofin LGA and Oriade LCDA include, the Executive Chairmen of Amuwo Odofin LGA and Oriade LCDA , Comrade Engr Valentine Buraimoh and Hon. Ramotalai Akinola; Apex Leaders, Prince Adio Sekoni and Alhaja Memunat Ajao; as well as, the chairmen of the party in Amuwo Odofin Local Government and Oriade LCDA, Alhaja Waheed Adewuni and Alhaji Abdulahi Aluko.
Speaking on behalf of the delegates, Alhaja Adewuni appreciated all for the confidence and trust , noting that they will not betray their trust.
