According to an earlier post and decision by , Festac markets located at 1st Gate , 2nd Gate and 3rd Gate are illegal and pose a security threat to lives and property.
Kenedy Dafe and Alhaja Fausat Bankole who are traders then acknowledged the presence of hoodlums in the market but that they had internal security, including arrangements with Oodua Peoples Congress, OPC, for the security of the markets to take care of the hoodlums.
There is ongoing plan to relocate these traders to somewhere else in festac. Read here
