A new Queen has emerged from the recently concluded Face Of Amuwo Odofin Beauty Pageant.
The Pageant in its Second edition took place at the Holy family Event Center, Festac Town, Lagos on the 15th of December 2017.
The Pageant is organized by the Concerned Youths of Amuwo Group in collaboration with the Amuwo Odofin Local Government and supporter by other bodies.
Gracing the event were dignitaries in the community such as the Local Government Chairman, Engr, Valentine Buraimoh, other Council executives as well.
Also the Representative House of Representatives, Hon Dipo olorunrinu , Former Executive Chairman Amuwo Odofin, Comrade Ayodele Adewale etc.
Guests from within and outside the community, Well-wishers, Supporters graced the Occasion as
Out of the 19 Final Contestants who partook at the contest, though a slim chance , 19-Year Old Miss Ariyike Fakorede Emerged as the Winner.
1st Runner-up was Princess Odunayo Oyewusi, Second Runner-up is Miss Barbara Odinaka.

I enjoyed myself at this year’s Pageant, it was a successful one and also a close shave for the winner.
Greatfull and excited about the successful event was the coordinator, Face of Amuwo , Mr Olamide Agbeseyi. Speaking to him he said,
You all know our motive is to see how to empower the youths of Amuwo Odofin in order to build a society of credible people through their talents and get rid of our society of illicit activities from our youths.
We are very much ready to do more with the Grace of Almighty God and your support through other activities we have in the pipeline.
As we grow in this pageantry event and other slated activities in the pipeline, we are convinced and believe that your support will go a long way to seeing the Local Government grow from the youths and build a better society and a Nigeria we all will be proud of. -Comrade Olamide Agbeseyi.
