A Cleaner Amuwo Is Our Collective Responsibility- Valentine Buraimoh

The Amuwo Odofin Local Government has intensified the clearing and evacuation of silt  sites across the community .
The clean-up exercise, which was simultaneously going on across the local government area, including 1st Avenue by MCC; 2nd Avenue by Sky Bank; 41 road by Radiance; Apple Junction by Clinix Clinic; and Oshodi/Apapa expressway by Tank & Tummy,  amongst others,  is in line with “Operation Keep Amuwo Clean“, a measure designed to complement the efforts of the State government.

The Council Chairman, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh urged residents to properly bag their waste and put it  in front of their houses for evacuation by officials of the Cleaner Lagos Initiative and other assigned bodies.

He further assured residents that his administration will continue to make the environment cleaner and habitable for all and sundry.

” A cleaner, healthier and greener environment is our collective responsibility, let’s all join hands and contribute our quota in making it a reality,” the Council Chief posited.

Also addressing the recent overflowing trash bins across the community, he said the Cleaner Lagos Initiative has been hinted on the recent happenings and that evacuation of these bins and proper clearing would be done. He also explained that evacuation of trash would be done by Vision Scape overnight.

So lets work together to make Amuwo Cleaner and Healthier.
