The cleaner Lagos initiative which was put in place to ensure a clean Lagos state has abandoned and made Festac Community worse than it was.
The cleaner Lagos Bins which were put in designated areas in the community has been abandoned for more than two weeks and counting.
The introduction of these bins around the community has seemed to expose the high negligence of the initiative. These Bins as can be seen at different areas are filled up and overflowing seriously hence littering the environment. Its now little clusters of trash around.
Who is responsible to clean-up & empty these bins regularly ? We are calling on appropriate bodies to aid in evacuating these bins before an epidemic springs up. – Joy Okonkwo
From 111 Road to 7th avenue, Mile 2 Estate and other places are victims of these negligence.
So we are to ask, have the cleaner Lagos initiative team abandoned Festac /Amuwo Bins ?
