At around 9pm on 21st July 2017, Popular Resident, Chairman of former Community Policing Youth Vanguard, Emmanuel Uba popularly Known as Nwa was shot by Gunmen.
The incident took place at 7th avenue, 71Road Opposite Mess 1 restaurant after the victim came out of the restaurant.
The unknown gunmen were carrying a motorcycle popularly known as okada when they opened fire with what seems to be a short gun.
Nwa was shot twice in the head and on the throat. The victim was with some other person who was also killed in the attack.
According to a source, he was shot in the head and in the neck. unconfirmed reports says it’s a robbery and some says it’s an assassination.
