The Festac Music Festival 2017 was a success as the event held on the 30th of December 2017 at the FHA Field 23 road , Festac Town , Lagos.
just like the 2016 edition, This much anticipated yearly event had its huge turnout as usual .
Festac Music Festival 2017 is Powered by Naija Ninja in collaboration with the Amuwo Odofin Local Government, it was an amazing night and of course fun filled. The show kicked off by 10pm with good music from various DJ’s in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry.
Gracing the event were Headline artists such as Daddy Showkey, Durella, Remninsce Henry Knight, Dj Smooth , Dj Moore, DJ Muski and we also got to see our very own BabaDee perform as well.
Also Upcoming artists in the community were given opportunity to showcase their talents to the huge crowd and also to thrill the audience.
It was a long night filled with music , fun , dance and of course jubilation.
In attendance to grace the Festac Music Festival 2017 were prominent personalities in the community such as Comrade Valentine Buraimoh, and other council executives., Hon. Dipo Olorunrinu, Miss Ariyike Fakorede, Face of Amuwo 2017 to mention a few.
Festac is originally referred to as the “Festival Town” or “Festac Village”. It was designed to accommodate the participants of the Second World Festival of Black Arts and Culture back in 1977.
Since then, Festac is considered the icon of art and culture in Lagos and by hosting the Music Festival, Festac will restore its importance as the capital of art and music in Nigeria.
It was an awesome night indeed . Festac Turned up . We anticipate 2018.
