Chigozie Topaz Arukwe was expecting his parents who are currently based in US, back in Nigeria and began preparations to give them a grand welcoming by renovating their apartment at 41 road Festac on Friday 20th October 2017.
He decided to make it easy for the painters after they made him realize the paint bought won’t be enough, so he went to get the paint himself at Agboju Old Ojo Road.
He parked his jeep at Agboju, crossed over to Old Ojo Road but met his death on his way back after being hit by a car on Badagry Expressway.
He died on the spot. Many testified that Chigozie was a very generous fellow
