The Lagos State House of Assembly Member representing Amuwo Odofin Hon Dipo Olorunrinu has reiterated once more that a major way of empowering the people is by ensuring they get sound education from a younger age.
Speaking through his aide he said
“Education is a legacy we must not deny our children which is why creating an enabling environment where children can improve intellectually is very key. This QUIZ initiative will help improve research and mathematical knowledge for these children and rewarding them teaches them why it pays to work hard”.
The event was organized by the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA with support from the office of the Honourable Dipo.
A total of 9 primary schools participated and were rewarded with certificates and prizes as it is a first of its kind with plans to expanding its scope to accommodate more schools in order to encourage and reward more children and teachers.
