Lagos Bus Conductors To Wear Uniforms & Name Tags

In efforts to promote the “Smart City Initiatives” by the Lagos State Government, the National President of the Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) Comrade Israel Adeshola, has disclosed that starting from today, August 3, 2017, the commercial bus conductors will wear uniforms and name tags for easy identification.

According to Adeshola, the Lagos State government has approved the association’s uniforms and badges with name tags and identification numbers for easy identification of registered conductors.

‘The re-branding of bus conductors in the state which is in partnership with the Lagos State Government is a project that has been in the master plan of the State Government in a way to stem criminal activities and also protect the lives and properties of Lagosians.”

He said the move will improve the perception of most people about conductors, adding that it will make the job more attractive.

The Bus Conductors Association of Nigeria (BCAN) boss, however, called on Lagosians to support the initiative
