Hon Dipo Olorunrinu has said for a city like Lagos to remain vibrant, it needs meaningful participation from youths but most importantly realistic support from the government.
“Who are the youths, you and I make up the youths, as a young man in government, I’m in office to play my contributory part as well as hear from the people how we can run this government together.” – Hon Dipo Olorunrinu
Hon Dipo said around Lagos young people are going into photography, music, modelling, delivery service, finger foods, fun sports and much more. He said the environment must be conducive and protective for these startups and growing businesses to succeed.
“Since coming into office I have always worked with the youths in job creation, education, ICT programs, social welfare and development, soon we are kicking off our sports league to encourage those in sports and grow new talents. You see we need to create an avenue that doesn’t stress young people willing to go into business”
Hon Dipo was speaking with the newly elected EXCOS of National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amuwo Odofin chapter when the team paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable at his constituency office in Festac Town.
