At about 4:16pm,21st of February 2018, A Man (name withheld) survived what would have been a serious fire incident.
How It Happened
The young man who just purchased the affected car, was driving along Oshodi- Apapa Express road , when he hot to Alaba Express the car started bringing out flames and immediately he alighted.
Then the car went up in Flames, the car git burnt beyond recognition. Passers by and people around helped to put out the flames
Rescue Operation & Efforts
LASEMA arrived the scene after the fire had been put out. Speaking to the Lasema Official in Charge he said,
We were notified at about 4: 25pm , we left for the scene at 4:26pm and here we are 21 Minutes later.
He lamented on the fact that vehicle-owners did not also aid in them getting there on time as they kept struggling the road with them. He also attributed the state of the bad roads as well.
They arrived and helped to calm the situation as well as put out the smoke still fuming out of the car.
