Oriade LCDA Chairman Commissions Library & ICT Centre

Hon. Ramotalai Akinola-Hassan,  Oraide LCDA Chairman on Thursday, 23rd of November, 2017,  made history as the chairman and the entire management staff held a historic 100 days in office to give account of her stewardship.

It was no doubt a memorable day in the history of Oriade LCDA when the Chairman, and The four wall of Oriade Hall was full to capacity with school pupils, widows, famers, elderly, among others.

Before the commencement of the programme, Hon Ramotalai with her team, firstly commissioned a library/ICT Complex at Assembly road, a project that was facilitated by Sen. Ganiu Olanrewaju Solomon and renovated by Oriade LCDA.

From the eloquent speech given by the Council Chairman, she revealed the determination of her administration to deliver good governance for her people. Among her achievement within the first 100 days in office includes:

Rehabilitation of Mumini Adio Badmus Road Ijegun Egba Satellite Town,

Rehabilitation of Navy Town Road, rehabilitation of Nitel Road Satellite Road.

Rehabilitation of Assembly Road Satellite, rehabilitation of Close 52-57 Road

Renovation of abandoned ICT/Library.

Rehabilitation of Boreholes

Presentation of 150 free GCE forms to indigene students.

Distribution of 14,000 free exercise books, presentation of drum set to 5 schools,

Provision of financial assistance to victims.

Skills acquisition/Empowerment programme, Vocational and agro training such as : catfish training,snail farming training,Turkey training, presentation of 400 seedlings To farmers, Granting Aids to 10 farmers Cooperatives, Elderly welfare packaging for 100 people, Presentation of food items to 500 widows and the needy and not neglecting the health sector, Clearing of drainages, among others.

Hon. Ramotalai further said that the aim of celebrating the 100 days in office is not to applaud the achievements of the administration but to get direct feedback from people and achieve an all-inclusive governance.

On a parting note She enjoined the people of Oriade LCDA to be law abiding, security conscious, pay their dues and take proper care of their environment.

The Olubese of Ibeshe kingdom, in his comment applauded the Chairman’s effort and urged people of Oriade LCDA to support the administration wholely to aid development in the LCDA.

Senator Ganiu Olanrewaju Solomon, in his eloquent speech also stressed the importance of the Chairman’s 100 days in office and enjoined the people of Oriade LCDA support the administration and to be security conscious.

Exercise books, food items, set of drums, among other gifts were presented to the beneficiaries.
