Container Shops have become a thing of the past as the Lagos State Physical Planning have thrown the entire residents of Amuwo Odofin especially in Mile 2 Estate into panic and confusion.
The traders and shop owners were given 48 hours notice to remove all container shops and those shops that are on the road by staff of Lagos State Physical Planning office.
Some say that they were given 7 days but other say 48 hours ultimatum . Amongst those affected is the popular Beljium Restaurant , Mjay , Looking Good Boutique and many other businesses majorly along the Fatgbem- Durbar road axis..
This of course is not a good news as majority of these affected individuals survive from their trades especially in this times of recession
Aspirant Tunde Collins Akinwale Davies has advised residents to be calm as they are looking at a way out.
He also explained that they are preparing the drains to handle flooding during rainy season.
