Saturday 16th July 2016 played host to senior secondary students as Silverbird Festac organised a never-been heard before event for students in the festac community .
The event is the much talked about Senior Secondary Movie Prom Party which had in attendance enough number of students to make the day fun .
The vent kicked off at 10:30am with welcoming of students and guests . welcome speech was given by the Business Manager, Mr Akanam Inyang (the brain behind this event) who also introduced the Compeer of the day , .
There was dancing , games and fun which composed the first part of the day . In attendance were also guest acts to perform live which of course fulfilled their purpose. They thrilled the audience and even pulled more crowd at the movie prom party..
The first competition was the dance competition which of course had winners .Also the chair dance competition which was utmost fun .
There were two movies as part of the days agenda as promised . Starting with Tarzan and then Independence day which was the second movie after the crowning of the first ever King & Queen of Silver bird’s Prom Party.
There were lots of gifts , give-aways and freebies given out to participants and infact attendees. everyone got something .
Also the silverbird media crew was there to cover the event and of course Festac Online representative . There were series of interviews.
