September 2nd 2015, The Lagos State Police Command successfully carried out a raid on some identified criminals in their hideouts. The raid as described by the Nigerian Police was based on intelligence as it was aimed at dealing proactively with rising security threats in Festac Town.
Included with these threats are reckless and lawless Okada riders , hoodlums also were not spared. About 20 Male suspects were arrested and 72 Motorcycles seized as reported by the police in a press statement released.
The Lagos State Police Commissioner, CP Fatai Owoseni wishes to use this opportunity to inform the members of the public that the exercise will continue until the set objectives are achieved.
