Festac Police Recover Arms & Ammunitions
The anti-robbery squad of the Area E Command headquarters , Festac Town during the weekend recovered 42 Live cartridges and 9 pump actions from suspected robbers. A Motorcyclist was apprehended during a routine anti-crime patrol along the 7th avenue road , Festac Town Lagos.
This is just less than two weeks after the Raid of Okada riders / motorcyclists around that area. The raid which was done in compliance with restriction on motorcycles /okada by Lagos State Government.
According to Thisday,
“Our policemen were on a routine anti-crime patrol along 7th Avenue, Festac Town, sighted one unregistered motor cycle with two passengers, carrying a suspicious bag.
“When challenged by the policemen, the men suddenly abandoned their motorbike and their bag, and took to their heels. When searched, 9 Pump action guns and 42 live cartridges were found.”Read More »Festac Police Recover Arms & Ammunitions
