The management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) has lauded the 6th Avenue community of Festac Town in Lagos for their efforts in apprehending suspected cable vandals that were caught cutting the cables attached to the 500KVA transformer in their community.
Residents and stakeholders in security under the jurisdiction of the Satellite Police Division, Agboju, Lagos State Police Command, last Wednesday, played host to the commander of Area E, Festac Town, Assistant Commissioner of Police Egburuaja Nwachukwu.

In the noon hours of Wednesday, 12th of July 2023, aggrieved family members and friends of an employee of a popular eatery in Amuwo-Odofin, KFC, located in the 23 road axis of Festac Town estate, took to the eatery to demand the release of the body of their loved one.
