Hon Jamiu Balogun & members of the Amuwo Odofin Royal Family yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh at the Council secretariat headquarters, Festac Town, Lagos.
The essence of the visit was to pledge their unalloyed support to the present administration.
” The visit amongst other things is to encourage, appreciate and commend the Council boss for his developmental strides so far.
We are also here to urge him not to relent in his efforts to rebuild the community.
” We also appealed to him to consider our sons and daughters when the government begins employment.” -Alhaji Mutiu Ogundairo, General Secretary of the royal family,
Ogundairo also heaped praises on the immediate past Chairman of the Local Government, Comrade Ayodele Adewale for supporting them and contributing to the growth of the Council.
The hallmark of the visit Was the presentation of an appreciation award to the Council Chief and also a leadership award to Comrade Adewale.
Responding, Engr. Buraimoh thanked them for the visit, while stating that his administration would continue to support the traditional institution because their role in nation building can not be over emphasized.
