Photo News: Chronicles Of Bliss Thrills Festac Residents

Festac residents had more laughter earlier this month as the first edition of Chronicles of Bliss Filled  was filled with so much fun, and laughter.

Veteran and upcoming artistes thrilled with loads and loads of fresh and running comedy lines at the Crystal10 Chronicles of Bliss.

The event, which gathered steam immediately it took off, had no dull moments as the crew of comperes, Daddy O.J (Emeka Ochije), Dr. Radio (Ike Henry Chinonso) and Anita Iwuchukwu put the audience on the spot with spontaneous picks for roles, making the event participatory.

Soon, everything went full swing with a host of comedians, including Sheriff Baba, Short Family (winner of Ibile comedy show), Pius Paul, Baba K, five-year-old wonder, Diamond (Okoloba Diamond Afoma) and the dance group, Beyond Imagination, among a host of others, thrilling the audience.

Characteristic of their kind, the arts drew huge laughter from the audience with their subtle and direct digs at the follies and ills of the Nigerian traditional, socio-political, religious, socio-ethnic and family systems, which they contrast with from different backgrounds as their supposed ideal practice.

On hand to swell the show were the likes of the Parish Priest, Holy Family Catholic Church, Fr. Simeon Irabor, and his former associate, Fr. Kingsley Oritseweyinmi, alongside such awardees as television and radio icon, Steve Onuh (Yaw) of Wazobia FM, Ada Ameh, former Director-General, National Troupe, Mr. Martin Adaji, and consultant entrepreneur and mentor, Mrs. Udoka Nwosu, among others.
