See The Date For Local Government Elections – LASIEC

The tenure of the incumbents, who have been in power since 2017, will expire in July.

After a long wait and pressure from the people for LASIEC to release plans for the council elections, a date has been scheduled.

In a statement on Tuesday, April 20th 2021, Ayotunde Philips chair of Lagos State Independence Electoral Commission (LASIEC) announced that the local government council poll is planned to hold in July 2021.
