Amuwo Odofin residents were privileged to get Free Eye Screening & Tests.
Ward K Councillor Amuwo-Odofin Local Government , Adewumi John Ogunshina kicked off this initiative as part of giving back to the Residents of is community.
Flagging the event was the LG Boss, Engr. Valentine Buraimoh, he said
” this screening exercise is a wake up call for a genuine need for us to go for health check regularly.”- Valentine Buraimoh
He further explained that the Local Government is committed to health development.
Hon. Ogunshina in his address stated that the free test is necessary has self medication for treatment without proper test, has become a practice that should be discouraged.
He said the legislative arm would support the Engr. Buraimoh led administration in his quest to take Primary Health Care to the next level.
Meanwhile, the immediate past Chairman of Amuwo Odofin LGA, Comrade Ayodele Adewale tasked residents to take the issue of their health seriously, noting that a sound health is wealth.
Hon Adeshina put this together as part of dividends of Democracy to the Electorate that voted him in office. He promised the Residents more programs to come to the community.
He further Advised the Residents that for them to be able to Enjoy dividends of Democracy they must pay their Rates at when due.
